# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It cooks itself while you set up, chat, or watch the game without any babysitting.
  • The sweet and tangy sauce clings to every bite and keeps people coming back to the pot.
  • You can make it with ingredients you probably already have in your pantry.
  • It stays warm in the crock pot for hours, so latecomers still get hot food.
02 -
  • Stir the sausages halfway through cooking or the ones on top will not get as much sauce and flavor.
  • Do not skip the apple cider vinegar because it cuts the sweetness and keeps the sauce from tasting like dessert.
  • If the sauce looks too thick after cooking, stir in a tablespoon of water to loosen it up.
03 -
  • Line your crock pot with a slow cooker liner for the easiest cleanup you will ever have after a party.
  • If you are taking this somewhere, wrap the crock pot in a towel and place it in a box to keep it from sliding around in the car.
  • Make the sauce the night before and store it in the fridge, then just pour it over the sausages and turn on the crock pot the day of.
